All About Space|Technospace

Space is all around us. The universe is so enormous, it is impossible to imagine. The universe includes almost everything we can think about, it is very mysterious. All these heavenly bodies like the sun, stars, the galaxies, the universes, the multiverse, the moon, and our earth, along with other planets, are a part of the universe.

  • Astronauts are the people who travel in to the space in a space craft.
  • Solar Sails are the space crafts without engine, which speeds by the the directs pressure of light particles from the Sun. It is the only technology known today that could explore the unlimited boundaries of the outer space in the coming years.
  • The Outer Space begins about 200 kms above the Earth, where the shell of air around our planet disappears. With no air to scatter the sunlight and produce a blue sky, the space appears as a blanket dotted with stars.
  • Quasars are the most distant objects in the space.
  • A Light Year is the distance travelled by light in one year that is 9.46 million kms.
  • The space shuttle is a resuable space craft designed totransport people between earth and space. Today the shuttle's capacity enables humans to build the world's largest orbiting laboratory paving the way back to the moon, on to Mars and further into space.
  • Weightlessness is a feeling an individual experience in space, because the Earth's gravity has less effect on us.
  • Weight of galaxies is measured by measuring the motion of stars.
  • Space is like a rubber sheeth, with a ball in a center. The more massive the ball the more curve is the space.
  • Albert Einstein was the first person to propose the theory of Dark energy.
  • The galaxy in which we live is known as Miky way Galaxy.
  • The universe in which we live is known as Butterfly Universe.
  • The nearest galaxy to us is Andromeda Galaxy.
  • International Space Station is the largest space laboratory in the space which is orbiting the Earth.
  • The space crafts travel less than one light year from the Earth.
  • Spiral galaxies constitute about 80 percent of all the galaxies.

Composition of Space

The space consists of three types of substances:
Normal matter, dark matter, and dark energy.
The normal matter consists of atoms that makes up the stars, planets, animals and every other thing in the space.
This is the distribution of the components present in the space. The blue color (69.86%) represent Dark Energy. Dark Energy is responsible for the expansionof our universe. The red color (0.6%) reresent Heavy Elements and Neutrino. The pink color (0.6%) represent Stars. The green color (3.99%) represent Freen Hydrogen and Helium. Hydrogen and Helium are the two most abundant gases in the space. The yellow color(24.95%) represent Dark Matter. Dark Matter that constitutes 25% of the space refers to the matter that does not emit light, and cannot be seen. But its presence can be determined by the gravitational effects on other bodies.
